The OYDC in partnership with Xavier University, ONE CDO (Coalition of College student councils) and Department of Education conducted its first OYDC YOUTH SPEAK: YOUTH, PASSION, NATION-BUILDING on Xavier University Little Theatre on September 1, 2014.

Speakers are the panelists of the JENYSYS 2.0 Program. The final screening for Mindanao participants was held in Cagayan de Oro. The participants are the student leaders from both the high schools and colleges of the city.

The speakers are:

They shared how their passion drove them to engage in areas where there is of greater need. They also shared the importance of thinking of the public consequences of our private choices. They urge the youth to identify their passion and invest time and effort in developing it. Sooner or later, that passion, coupled with skill and opportunity will bear good fruits that do not only empower others but improve the lives of our less-fortunate brothers and sisters.
